Lesson 41 and 42 Everyone can be our teacher. I've learnt a lot during my lifetime. I found my passion and purpose teaching. I taught adults when I was younger in my teens and the age I now teach is pre-k, one and a half year olds and realized that I am learning so much from them. They are so open to recieve and haven't yet been tainted yet and they learn from me. They don't compare.. and I started to stop comparing myself to others. One has to be super present to really teach and guide children. They look up to you and it's been such an incredible voyage. Thank you Jim for letting me reflect and see what's been happening in my life. I've been very consistent and my life has been extraordinary recently... Thank you

Monitor your self-talk. Three years ago I became afflicted by neurological problems that make it hard for me to walk and keep my balance. I have been extensively tested at renowned neurological institutes but they can't find the problem. I recently hired a psychotherapist/coach to deal with my mental struggles. During one of our first conversations he said "you tell yourself all the time you can't stand". Which I proved true to myself 5 minutes after the session he pointed it out. I've been working on my mindset for 40 years, but still couldn't see it. That lead me to discovering...."what you hate about others you hate about yourself and what you love about you love about yourself." Needless to say this has hyper-focused my analysis of self-talk. Does this mean that when we talk about others to ourselves, in our minds, it's really just another form of self talk...for good or bad? With the same consequences? I would be greatly appreciative if you would share your thoughts about this take Jim. Thanks!

Lesson 26: Not much grows in your comfort zone. For a long time I was stuck in my comfort zone and it made me miserable. I was so afraid of getting a job but I knew I would have to get one eventually. I am extremely shy so I hated the idea of being around a lot of people. Now I am in a job where I need to talk to people and I actually got use to it. I would’ve never changed if I got a job where I worked by myself. Lesson 45: Monitor your self talk. When I started monitoring my self talk I realized how rude I am to myself. I always call myself stupid for little things and try to dissuade myself from taking chances. I need be more compassionate to my self and challenge my negative beliefs.

I’ve just started listening to your videos. I really appreciate all the information. I’ve been applying it to my 4 year old special needs grandson and have already been noticing a positive change. Yes, he is different, but that’s ok. We’re realizing he’s a genius, and we’re noticing it more everyday. We’re so excited about his future. The challenge is worth it.

I was struggling to stay positive and keep afloat, but I’m praying this allows me to “monitor my self talk”. New subby here! Thank you for sharing your lessons they all resonate and are inspiring. If I had to choose just one number 27 ‘A loss can be a gain in disguise’. I truly believe ‘out of bad/ misfortune comes good, You model that if you hadn’t suffered your injury as a child you wouldn’t have been teaching the amazing lessons about the brain and it’s potential. Thank you for finding solutions and the clarity and warmth with which you share them. 💕

I love dreaming no matter how unusual they are! Which is pretty much all the dreams. I watched a short yt video of Putin yesterday and his image was in my dream last night! Weird huh!?😋 The one thing that I thought about when I was coming up to the 50's is why haven't I "listened" to my elders when they were trying to teaching me. I too had a near death experience. Just one. It made me believe that there really is a devil! I also had the out of body experience during that time. I was in a completely black room, I was looking at my face, which happened to be the face of the devil! I was so angry for having to ask for water all the time that I felt like I was talking with the devil's tongue! I don't know of the time span. I just know that I was in the hospital for 10 days, on life support with double pneumonia and sepsis. A scary experience for sure, but I'm still here! 🥵🤯🤒😇 Sorry, I'm getting carried away. The word NDE just triggered my thoughts. BTW Mr. Kwik, happy 50th for whenever that came around! 😉🥳 You've already created your legacy! I enjoy being a part of it!✌️ Love from Washington State 💞
