I had a similar experience with the wheel lock key for my 335i. I couldn't tell in the video what they lock pattern looked like, but for my 335 it was a sort of star pattern and they make them with varying numbers of splines. I just took a picture with my phone, zoomed in, and counted the splines (I want to say it was 31 or so). Then I went online and searched some forums and websites and found the correct key size with the amount of splines and ordered it that way. It was cheap too, so i ordered two of them just in case. Not sure how helpful this will be, but loving the content, keep it up!!

Do the x51 engine upgrade package which basically makes it almost the same as a gt3. Also another trick to get it to sound and perform like a gt3 is do the variocam-plus system delete on the valve buckets to make them lighter and rev higher, that plus valve springs/cams rev to 9k rpm for that crazy exotic sound with an x pipe in the back

Should have looked for a boxer that’s getting parted out because people tend to sell those parts much cheaper, even though from the doors forward they are the same up until 2001. Lights, fenders, radiator and hood

you can hammer a somewhat too small socket on the locked wheel nut and then you can get it of with a wrench

Just use vice grips or hammer a 12pt socket on the wheel lock and then take it out and replace it with a regular lug. Not worth the money on the key.

Also. You go to the dealership, they get the master set for the locking wheel bolt. They sell you the key that fits and order a new one for their master set. That's how it works

If it’s a pre 2000, the ims doesn’t need to be done as it has the old style which is much better! Has a less than 1% failure rate, know of plenty of 180k+ mile early cars with original ims still fitted
