Turning a Condemned Building into a DREAM SHOP // Woodworking

My friends and I restored a collapsing building on my farm and turned it into my dream woodworking shop. Watch as we do demolition, install new windows and doors, reframe collapsing areas, pull wire, insulate, drywall, mud, tape, paint, hung lights, wired plugs and finally, set up a functional shop. Lots of dreams came true in the building and outfitting of this space, lots of new friends were made, and it was this project that was the catalyst to going full time working for myself!

What a testimony! I am sooooooo excited for you. I am filled with light listening to the joy in every word you speak. I heard you having an experience with adversity (your contractor leaving-please know I do not minimize his help) and ultimately receiving a gift that tripled in size (the couple that came to help and the friendship you gained. Glad to hear you are willing to try, i`m 78 now but long yrs ago i figured out if someone made it i could take it apart, if neccessary, and put it back. Your willingness to try is the secret. Good job keep at it

Anne, just Wow! what a great story. I am 1 year into restoring an old farm 17th Century here in France and I know and feel everything that you have said here. I have never done half of the things I have taken on here, but I am loving every late night, every weekend, every disaster/mistake :) I wish you many many joyful hours in your new shop.
