Turning a Family Vacation into an Axis Deer Hunt in Maui with Hawaii Safaris

I travel to the beautiful island of Maui, with Patrick Fisher of Hawaii Safaris, to chase axis deer with my bow and ultimately grab the rifle to get a great buck on the ground.
I turned a family vacation to Hawaii to a hunting trip, I even had my 14 year old daughter, Addison, film me.
Sadly, while editing this story, I reached out to Pat for some support imagery for his "About Me" segment where I learned of his passing a few weeks prior. My heart is saddened and I am still in disbelief but what little time I spent with Pat in person was more than enough to show the kind heartedness and truly genuine human he was.

You we’re hunting in our old sugar plantation fields. I spent many long days and late nights hauling the sugarcane from those fields to the sugar mill.

Contact Hawaii Safaris and Emalia Fisher (Pats daughter) unfortunately Pat passed away earlier this year but I know they’re keeping thing goin and will be able to help you out! I will never visit Hawaii without turning it into a hunting trip! Lol. Such a huge part of the local community too
