@@AHuntersQuest you are definitely inspiring me to get serious with the hunting on Maui. This year I managed to get my first shot off in an actual hunt, shot my first doe in central maui. Then a week later I shot a buck with a small rack. Last week I was in Argentina and ran into some locals that took me hunting for black buck antelope. It was amazing. Shot my first shot at 180meters and it landed in the gut. Tracked it for 2 hrs across different corn fields and into a wetland high grass area and secured the kill. Managed to get another buck that evening at 100meters and this one dropped. It’s been super fun and l really enjoy cooking the meat. Do you have any videos of preparing the meat and eating it? It would be a great “field to table” video and I’m sure with the amount of hunting that you do, you probably have some great preparations and recipes. Anyways I’m looking into purchasing some binoculars and some camo, good boots and a tripod. Hopefully I can find a monster in these mountains. 🦌

This buck was taken on private land Nate. Most of the good areas in Maui are on bigger cattle ranches.
