That plus they're a natural occurrence - lightning strikes and an area burns, returning nutrients to the soil through ash, and even triggering some seeds that have evolved to need a little 'cooking' to sprout - since their being exposed to a fire indicates the canopy's burnt away and they can potentially grow without starving for sunlight, so those seeds sprouted and grew better

No joke, environmental engineers are doing this RIGHT NOW on the Hawaiian island of Kaho’olawe. The island was used as bombing practice during WWII, turning the island into a desolate wasteland. To this day, you can actually see a small ring of dirt in the oceans around the island

I played the demo and waited for this game for years, and it didn't disappoint me! It was a very satisfying experience. I absolutely recommend playing it... though maybe waiting for when it's on sale (it's typical asking price is $25 on Steam, which is just a bit too high in my opinion, like $20 at most seems fair for what you get, I still recommend it though!).

i have very rudimentary understanding of how madly complicated irrigation is, i mean remember lake Aral? that became not a lake because of irrigation up stream, its balancing act between keeping the green wetted and river flowing. i imagine actual rewilding of land is stupidly complex task - i can not even balance my own self, people who balance entire ecosystems must be engineers or something.

I think Terra Nil is a gorgeous and extremely interesting game, very casual, but I'm worried about its replayability factor. One of the reasons I have a hard time committing to it myself

tip for the monorail the trains will go in the order the way you place the beacons and mulible trains will spawn 1 beacon = 1 train and for some reason confuses me is the trains explode at that beacon once done so they dont need to go back

Of course Flamingo can fly. To be fair it's not proper flight, he just attaches his strings to the clouds and sort of tarzans his way through the sky, but it's one of the most basic powers of the hito hito no mi, so it totally counts.

I am really frustrated as I can not get Flamingos, yet My wet lands are bigger and my beach in right there too. but in your video it clearly states at 16:14 that you do not meet the requirements yet you got them. it gives me the same reading as you got. that my wet lands are not big enough and needs to be 10 tiles. Mine are at least 20 so how where you able to get them and I can't This is so frustrating.
