That's pretty cool. Those would be good, too, on a property that was used for hunting or "off-grid" type. Leave the outside looking like a container and the inside is a beautiful home. Thanks for sharing! I love this type stuff too.

The key to these shipping container homes is to know the history of the container! If you can get them brand new that's best, otherwise you need to check the history to make sure hazardous chemicals weren't shipped in the container because you do NOT want to expose your family to those residual chemicals. Love that you guys are doing videos like this! Not everyone needs to live in a giant master plan community home!

We Absolutely agree! This unit did not have any smells, we sprayed the entire unit with bleach and pressure washed it many times before laying the new floor and framing the walls. I think that it's sad that many Americans have been reduced to having to consider living in something so small, this is the type of living space that you see in much less developed countries. Our elected leaders have failed us in almost everyway possible for at least 50 years, yet we let them take our money only to give it to other countries for their benefit.
@PavingNewPaths4 ай бұрын
I don't think many people who look into living in a tiny home do so out of it being their last resort. Many choose to live this way, because living tiny allows you to free up more of your time and finances to do and see the things that are most important to you, versus spending your time and money maintaining a large home.
@MaxHavoc694 ай бұрын
@@PavingNewPaths That may have been the case in the past but with the cost of housing doubling in many parts of the country more and more people are being forced to find cheaper alternatives to housing. Container homes are a neat concept but I don't believe they are worth almost 100K. My wife and I built a small house on a farm property that's 12x24 with a bedroom loft and full size bathroom for right around 30K.
