Fynbos (Afrikaans meaning literally, Fine bush) pronounce it Feign (like feigning knowledge) and boss (like the person putting you through a second round of layoffs - little topical reference for ya). You know, "efficient" is probably the least amount of overlapping areas, not cleansing every square. Meaning every time you use for example a scrubber, every square that overlaps with another scrubber is a 'point' in inefficiency, and currency 'wasted'.

Hey! I’m from South Africa. Fynbos is an Afrikaans word which directly translates to “fine bush”. If you want to know how to pronounce it I’ll quickly break it down. “Fyn” you pronounce exactly the same as you would “vein”, but replace the v with a soft f (like the f on forest). The o sound in “bos” is the same short o sound in the word “more”. And there you go - fynbos!

Because this is the tutorial level of the newest version of the game. The original game a) didn't have an animal scan mechanic locked behind a percentage of recycling, b) allowed you to chain recycling silos from one to another to leap frog from plains to coastline, c) had flying drones you unlocked as you progressed the recycling phase that flew to silos instead of needing the waterway, d) the research center was required to unlock the biome phase and restructured your phase 1 buildings into new designs for smaller footprints and lower costs. Chat is working off outdated info. Also, unrelated to your comment, but I was disappointed at Skootie dropping the tropics (a later level) in the thumbnail but only showcasing the tutorial level.

In the demo you could definitely recycle silos with another silo instead of all the faff of extending the rivers, are you sure you cannot do that anymore?
