This has got everything a good puzzle/strategy game needs. It's simple to understand, and immediately satisfying, but there are so many ways to creatively constrict resources, map layout, and victory requirements for more in-depth challenges. I hope this game blows up this year because it's got potential!

Mangrove trees may prefer brackish water, they can grow in pure fresh water and pure salt water. As long as there is enough salt in the water, any shark can survive, but they will have to return to the ocean. Then there are bull sharks, they have a special organ to help retain salt in their body, allowing them to travel up rivers. In 1937 one was found in the Mississippi River in Alton Illinois, about 15 miles north of St. Louis, and 1750 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. edit: (Crystanis) has an actual explanation of why reef sharks like mangroves. The thing with jellyfish is that there are species called lion's mane jellyfish that can grow longer (not larger but still massive) than a blue whale.
