This video came across my queue & I had to check it out. Absolutely fell in love with your work! All of your pieces are beautiful and a lot of hard work is put into them I see. I really enjoy the videos that you put out and thank you for sharing you're work with us. Cheers!😊😊

C'mon. That's some next-level stuff right there. The brain of an artist works completely differently to the brain of a non-artist like me. I could never look at a pack of pencils and see something like this...never. Amazing work, man.

I can't even sharpen a colored pencil without breaking it! Very impressed.

Incredible. I couldn’t imagine it looking good when I initially saw what you were doing. Couldn’t be more wrong. Beautiful.

Alright you've probably seen coloured pencil being turned a milion time on KZbin, but have you ever see it done without dumping a tone of epoxy resin on them ?
@OlivierGomis4 жыл бұрын
@@kingy002 I don't personaly dislike the use of resin, sometimes it can give awesome results. I just don't like when they title their video "woodturning" but there is more resin then anything else. In this case I tried to do it in a different way to try to stand out, out of the 100 other pencil turning videos.

Very nice and it had to be delicate to work. The rainbow dust coming off the work was a clue it had to be handled carefully. There is a wonderful kind of insanity to taking that massive stack of pencils and one by one assembling, planing, and gluing and then taking the chance with no resin that is just "signature you"!

@@kingy002 Agreed. The epoxy always ruins the look, in my opinion.

That's amazing - so worth the time you took with the pencils. I also love that you left the top of the vase ridged instead of smoothing it down (or at least, it looks that way).

This was fantastic! Nice to see someone not dumping the pencils in resin and the finished product looks so much better. We like all of the various jigs you make to help you work - very clever. We learn a lot from your videos.
