I am glad you like it Davy. But the idea with the jar is not from me. I have watched some videos of people making Dorodangos an I just wanted to try making one by my self.

Dankeschön. Bis vor kurzem wusste ich auch noch nichts davon. Aber als ich die Dinger gesehen hab wollte ich es unbedingt mal ausprobieren.

I've been wanting to try this, curious... after all the work how easy is it to break? ...can they be dropped without freaking out or not really?

Vielen Dank zu erst fürs anschauen. Ich habe inzwischen noch ein paar Videos von anderen Leuten dazu gesehen und der Sand ist anscheinend kein muss. Man kann die Dinger auch nur mit Dreck, oder Lehm machen. Für das Finish ist aber anscheinend purer Lehm am besten, weil die Kugel dann sogar auf hochglanz zu polieren geht (sieht dann aus wie eine Billardkurgel). Das probier ich auch irgendwann nochmal.

Mir wurde als Kind gesagt das ich nicht ständig mit dem Dreck spielen soll und jetzt erfahre ich das es eine Kunstform ist....

Das sind so Sachen die man erst wirklich glaubt, wenn man sie mal selber ausprobiert hat. Das Teil ist ganz ohne Brennen steinhart geworden.
