The C-stand is great but the gobo head is usually mounted the other way. the fixed part on the C -stand and the rotatable part on the boom arm, mounted so that the tightening handle is on the right so when there is weight on it tightens the grip head not loosens it. If mounted correctly you actually only need the sandbag on the bottom of the stand and then you can also pan the boom arm separately from the bottom section. But all in all lovely setup

I'm in the process of converting my box room into a space to shoot videos. In my opinion tripods taken up too much space. My plan is to mount some 1" bars to the ceiling. That way I can hang lights cameras and mics from it. You can also mount a slider up there too. I am fortunate that I own my place. But if you are mounting into the joust then when you come to move into your own place then it is an easy job to full the holes and give the ceiling a coat of paint.

@@dedasdude Auld Lang Syne is a **very** famous Scottish song that has spread through the English speaking world and has become "the" song sung at New Years. The first written record of it is from the late 1700s, but has a fairly long history in Scottish folklore. Obviously I could have some bias, but I do believe it was first a Scottish song, and I did find this article from the Times of India that states the song you're talking about borrowed from Scottish culture: m.timesofindia.com/india/tagore-drew-inspiration-from-scottish-bard-for-his-poem/articleshow/10799964.cms I think the song you're referring to is a poem that may have a long history, but I believe the melody itself is Scottish in origin.
