I love the ideas at play in this video. You're such an incredible spring of information. On a side note, if you haven't found the name for it yet, the suction mount you were using looks a lot like one I've used in the past. I believe it was called the Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Triple. Might be the brand you're looking for. Thanks for putting out such great stuff!

kinnysupreme have a still shot with a tripod or anything to hold the camera still, then take it to post production edit the clip, make it have natural little shake effect so it looks like its hand held or just use panning zoom in and out etc to make it seem as someones operating the camera 🤷🏽♂️

Really good pointers - what i would have added would have been some smoke from cigars - slow motion smoke or cloud a smoke in that news paper corner - damn! Also in the car, would have taken the scene to the next level - also the car crash could have been caused by him lighting a new cigarette instead of "it just happened". Details for the viewer make the difference to a story music video. Also, 2 cars driving backwards from standstill and reversing the video is not the same as if they are driving forward. Apart from the wheels that just starts moving and is nothing you can do about it in post, feels weird and not realistic, the suspension dynamics also are a clear giveaway that it was done in reverse. What you should have done is have car A (the musicians car) come from the left side and not brake at all (ties in with the first part - not paying attention to road due to cigars) and drive all the way to the right till out of frame. Have car B come from right and brake at a given point so the wheel stops in frame and skids a bit. Repeat a few times so you multiple shots of the same thing. You may find that car B stops way 2 early or 2 late and is not in the center of the frame. In post, using a mask on the center, make both cars meet. (pay attention to details: both car shadows, where the mask ends so you dont end up cutting anything with the mask). These are the 2 things i would have done differently for a more cinematic/realistic look. Anyway, good job and ty for the ideas - have an empty room and was thinking of making it a filming set.
