I love the couch and would have preferred the paint to a couple shades lighter, especially in a room short on light. Love the chairs but would have switched their placement so the rattan has more light. The other chair is light and doesn’t need as much reflection. 🎉

Sometimes, you just need to experience a space for a while to decide how it should be used. Good decision. The room is now warm, rich and inviting. The fox is made with a resin 3D printer. It hardens liquid resin into solids so the results are very detailed and smooth. It is different from the filament 3D printers, which has that linear pattern/texture.

Love the Black one looks comfy, but I also would love seeing both of those reupholstered finds in that room. Now Is the black one capable of going outdoors, or is it not for outdoor usage at all ?? I'm curious as the deck is right outside the frnch doors .would look great with a black fur rug seat cushion and pillows as Ross sells faux fur at reasonable prices and that chair is perfect for that look on its cushions or any other animal skin faux of course. Just my opinion, but those types of chairs are so comfy usually . The other one is also visually appealing and made, so extremely well, It's great and looks good in a smoking lounge 👌 as that's one lovely chair as well...very sculptural woodwork.

For me it would be The Reading Nook.... With a throw blanket and pillows added to the couch and the balcony for fresh air, what a perfect place to cuddle in and read a good book. Love the room, cozy and vibrant all at the same time. My aesthetic is eclectic, love that that's how this room is. ❤

I loved so much, but especially the 3D fox heads. What I also loved was that you decided not to purchase any new items but to use what you already have. I am in the middle of a redo on a budget and that's exactly what I want to do. This gave me some much needed confidence that everything does not have to be 'matchy'; you used the little light wood lamp table with the dark wood pieces and it looked great, and the stools instead of coffee tables.

I love that you use color on your walls. I just painted my bedroom a color called Clay which is kind of a brown/ red color. I wasn't sure when I picked it but it gives the room a cosy warm feel. Green is the accent color I use for other things so it is like a flip of your room. I just love it.

You really have an eye for choosing exceptional vintage pieces of furniture. Your dark rattan round chair is unbelievable! I’ve never seen something like that. I wouldn’t put that in my home but my ex-father in law would be crazy about it, he used to sell mid-century vintage pieces. I also think you should keep the two reupholstered chairs together because they have more value when they are sold as a pair. The painting you chose for that room is the best. You could call this room “the Fox Room”.

I've noticed that many of your paintings are either in not great condition (like the decomposing one) or very yellowed due to non-UV protective materials used back then. I highly recommend sending some to someone name Baumgartner restorations who is here on youtube, he restores paintings to make them also last longer for the future and restores the paintings to how they used to look like how the artist envisioned.

Drew, I absolutely love the evolution of your spaces. I have had my home for thirty years and I love to redesign spaces that are either not being utilised fully or just because the needs of the family has changed. As we have grown and children moved away or we have transitioned from needing a play room to an adult cosy space we can redesign our spaces so our home grows with us. Each iteration is different and doesn’t mean what we did previously was wrong it just means we have evolved. Keep growing in your home, it’s a joy to share the experience with you.
