about the new shading technique you can also use more saturated colors around the edges of the shadows. this is caused by something called “subsurface-scattering” it normally occurs on skin, candles and most somewhat translucent objects. the cool color in the deepest part of the shadow is caused by the bouncing cool sky light or depending on the lighting situation it could be the opposite if the shadows are warm which would be caused by the bouncing warm sun light therefore the highlights would be cool

I've been a Sonic fan since I was 9, and now I'm 17, and I am still in love with the Sonic franchise. Sonic Adventure 2 is my favorite Sonic game yet, and I bet a lot of fans can agree.
