I love the gym area!! The little bare area above the weight section on the wall should have a little neon sign in cursive writing that glows like a pale yellow that says “Kristin made It” because not only did you make the space but you also made it far since your accident! And it can make u smile and encourage u to keep going. Always a reminder of how strong u are!☺️

I think a simple functional thing to put above the bench would be a little wooden accordion hook rack with some resistance bands and maybe a jump rope hanging on it 🤌 super cute space

Late to watch the video but where you were thinking about putting the mirror behind the bench, you should put one of those accordion wall hangers to put hang your sweater/ workout towel/ workout bands. Also, how about rolling up the yoga mats and putting them in the baskets under the table? 😃

Ok when those mats eventually tear up replace them with horse stall mats from Tractor Supply Co. We did a lot of research when doing our home gym and they were highly recommended. They were very cost efficient and heavy duty real rubber. The only downside was cutting them to fit the space since they are so thick.

If you’ve never considered hiring a trainer we had one at my office and it was the best workouts ever, I’d highly recommend. They would come to your gym and give you stuff to do that you hadn’t considered before.
