I find it funny that the idol that almost everyone bullied during their debut for being short and having a big forehead, can carry people’s Side Order runs and is doing more to support the player than any of the other idols (excluding Marina) combined. Be careful who you bully, they might end up being the one you rely on

I want to clarify the roguelike vs roguelite LIKE is accurate, you die you start from scratch. Think risk of rain or binding of Isaac kind of thing, you can unlock new charcaters, items, etc. That will show up in your next run LITE is a bit different than he described, not entirely innacratte but in my experience it's more like side order or games like immortal redneck or gunfire reborn. You get permanent upgrades that make the game easier on the next run when you die, say more damage, extra lives, more defense, etc.

@@Falling_Down It makes a big difference in games imo. Like I don't play binding of Isaac because it's hard and there's no it gets easier type thing. Compared to roguelites where there is a general sense of permanent progression. It definitely makes a difference depending on the person.

I’ve been finding that drone runs are easily the most powerful, you get a little bit of luck (EVEN 1 COMBO INCREASE) with a drone chip percentage easily gives pearl the raw dps to murder EVERYTHING

I did 2 mono chip runs last night. Support is BUSTED for charger. You can turn it into the grizzco charger but with max homing and infinite ink. I did the luck pallette with dualies and it's so fun. I love frolicking around all the items while the lucky bombs nuke everything around me lmfao

//side order spoilers regarding marinas dev diaries the reason why we cant switch pearl drone for marina is cuz marina coded the memverse so that shes like a "final boss" to reconfig a sanitized octos memories while pearl is their support. she actually has cute dialog about how its like shes a princess trapped in a castle while pearlie is her saviour, thats why you cant change it, marina just doesnt want to lol. plus at the final boss marina has to be a dj for support, pearl only sings so she couldnt be able to play music to help us!

In Side Order, my personal favorite special is Killer Wail. It shreds portals and bosses, plus it makes pushing the tower easier. I just did a tri-stringer run with a pretty even split of range and mobility chips, plus a couple stacks of sound wave damage. I ended up only having to fire like two shots while walking to fully charge wail.

I love how it took you a bit to realize that Rondo was a boss Also, fun fact: Rondo dies instantly when the three layers that are lined with LEDs are destroyed. You don't have to destroy the rest of it, technically... implying there's a minimum amount of layers you HAVE to destroy to beat the boss.

I did find out during a Drone run is one can have 35 Drone chips total on a Palette... and that's it. Any chips you get after that are semi-random, but Drone chips are out of the pool. This is where you ask yourself whether to collect a final chip or not. Still, Pearl Drone is OP. Remind me to run both Sprinkler and Inkstrike on my next Drone run.

The moment I was told to just beat side order with just using pearl I thought it wasn't gonna be any use, no.. No.. They mentioned the pearl drone being op. Like. Asf. Literally made it through and beated side order with my first palette (marinas brella). Nowadays I'm able to breeze through side order with no issues at all due to unlocking more hacks :P

I recommend prioritizing splash damage and splash radius if you can find them. Splash radius is invaluable for crowd control, and splash damage will scale way better on your splat bombs than damage on your main weapon. They both effect a lot of other things (a few specials, pearls bombs, lucky bombs), so there's a lot of ways to build around it.

Lots of people like kraken. But crab and tri are just better for destroying portals. I prefer crab more just because of being able to easily pop one when your armor breaks(assuming u have alot of special charge related stuff.) same with kraken but kraken cant reach most portals
