Yes, in the previous splatoon game, the main villain of the DLC (octo expansion) built a giant cannon in the mouth of the NILS statue. TARTAR (the villain) was going to cause extreme genocide and then recreate society so the main protagonist of the DLC (agent 8) worked with pop star singers pearl and marina to stop tartar. Marina was an engineer for an army of octopus-human combos called octarians before she became a pop star. (She was also an octarian) so because she was an engineer apparently she brings giant bombs In the form of the bombs used in the video. The NILS statue was absorbing energy through the sun so agent 8 used the bombs to cover the statue in ink and saved the population, if you want a better explanation then look up a vid abt splatoon lore@@augustthetoboggan9449

@@NightLocke_17 No need to be rude to others because of whatever skill level they have or that you think they have. And I think you've missed the point of what was being said. The problem is that at best the easy 8-ball level feels like a waste of time to play, there's no challenge in it and if one of the balls fall when you're trying to bring to the top goal in the level, which can happen if you rush as a result of trying to speedrun it, you have start again with the ball. The level is just a nuisance. Sisyphean at least has challenge in it, even if disc farming can feel repetitive if it's necessary. This ball level doesn't belong in a Rougelike. There's no point to playing it again after the first time.

Getting extra dodge roll was not fun. I had to rerun about 5 or 6 times. But what I learned is to reroll a max of three times each floor, otherwise it drains your membux. Vending is risky but can come in big time.

Splashdown counts as an explosion but inkstrike doesn't (iirc) so you missed out just a teensy bit by not taking it. Booyah Bomb is also great for this build because with enough radius it becomes Horrorboros' Booyah. Also I legit expected to hear "AMOGUS" on 23f 🤣
