The drawback I see with this as opposed to the X and S is that with those cars having the instrument cluster frees up space on the main screen. I’m in the market to buy an EV and I don’t like the fact that Tesla devotes 1/3 of the screen to the image of the cars around you. Maybe I’d learn to love it, but right now I’ve got carplay on my infotainment and everything else on my instrument cluster and it works well. So if I could add an instrument cluster to a model y and have it work like an x or an s then one of the barriers to wanting to buy a y would be removed. If the instrument cluster is not necessary why not remove it from the x and the s? I don’t think a touch screen instrument cluster is very practical for carplay, so the fact that you can’t control it with the steering wheel controls would be a deal breaker for me. CarPlay works really well and I’m already paying for my phone so I think I’ll be wanting a car that has a more traditional set up to start with. But if I did choose a Tesla I’d probably buy one of these from a different manufacturer and a Sexy Knob. I’m not into the minimalist thing, I just like a lot of the practical aspects of the Y and the price.

Looks very awesome super good size !! all rest of them kind of too small, but this one is finally it looks normal fancy very close to Model S:) Can you please drive with it and show us vid's Also Outside looks good and big, BUT the software is way too basic almost nothing there in interface no colorful display or switch it to big clock no RPM or any of that. Too much money for little basic interface:(

Is no one going to comment about 4:27 where the wood grain pieces don’t even come close to matching up in color?!? Light brown vs. dark brown? That’s a huge eye sore for such an expensive product.

It does have a great look, but no steering wheel control would give me pause, but otherwise like it.

It only has ine UI which is the bight mode ,it doesn't have the morning mode

The setup on the 10.25 inch display is gross and have to muck with the battery. Also the UI on the 10.25 inch display is meh. I think the 8.9 inch F9/FY9 displays UI looks better and one less thing to install.
