Do you know what it takes to build a real Carson Top like the Hot Rodders use? They are custom fitted to the car and framed to be finished inside and out with high grade materials, and stitching. They also cost big coins since they are hand built from scratch. Ain't gonna happen in this venue.

But as the saying goes “he who pays the piper picks the tune”. I know you said clicks go down when you start the finishing work on the cars but it’d be nice to see the Bugatti, the Bugatti hauler, or the t bird finished and film the process.

Funny how you ask people there thoughts then ignore them when they give u an answer. I read most of the comments, not the live feed and most of them said don’t do it. You say things on your channel all the time and do t follow through. Have yet to see a project finished that wasn’t on the tv show they cancelled. Have heard you are on Bugatti till the end and all kinds of other crap that don’t mean shit expect the hot air coming out of Chads mouth…. Once you have seen anything chad works on you know how the rest of anything he works on will be. I use to enjoy the show and was watching for the Bugatti build, I will now be finding a new channel to watch cause I am tired of not seeing anything get completed. I agree I was very skeptical at first. To chop up that vintage car would be a shame, but he really had me going as it looked like it was going to be a very cool car. Now I think it's a lost cause. That's why pick-ups were made. A rumble seat would have been a better choice with all that wasted area left in the back of the car......not bike hauler. Chad, lets get real here, you had to get the roof to fit, which it was nearly, mission impossible.[ due to shape] Then you kinda got there but you had the joining in the middle issue with the floppy sheet meeting, then you added the molded pipe work, and still, it was not going the way you hoped, so to justify not quite going to plan this you changed it to the bike hauler. So the nuts and bolts of it you took what was a rare classic [ok] then you being you wanted to change it to a roadster, starting to see your idea sorta and now it's just a one off ?????? you could of done this to the Austin mate, and left the ford as an investment, how would want this now!!!!!!

Chad, you gave up too quickly. You could have handled the problem with the back deck, you just needed to take a blow and come back to it. If you built cross member across the car, the steel would have had to lay flat.
