Recently bought a cricket, another vid had a Paracord lanyard on the cocking knob to make it easier to pull with a scope on. Great video very helpful 👍

Haha, great minds think alike as they say. I did something similar, with a few minor differences. * Ran a small bit of leader material through the knob with a fishing swivel in the middle (prevents twisting) and attached it to the trigger guard so as not to lose the knob. * Cut a slot in the top of the stock for the trigger to fit in. It provides protection for the trigger and lets the disassembled rifle to fit together tightly (held with a 1.5-inch wide Velcro strap). * Replaced the Phillips screws in the butt plate with counter sunk D-ring screws, for tool free access. * I used an 8ft length of paracord doubled over and twisted like rope, I was going for lightness and versatility. I figure at least half of the outer cord sheath and all the inner strands could be used for other things, if necessary, while still leaving enough outer cord for a sling. * I opted for no optic to save size and weight. The rifle fits nicely in a small camera tripod case. Great job and very informative video... well done.

I used the little cricket .22lr pistol but I put the aluminum chassis on it. Went with the primary arms cyclops etched reticle so I don't have to rely on batteries. On the chassis I put the SB tactical folding brace on it. That set up fits perfect in my little Camelback backpack. That way I don't have to take it apart. I'm thinking about getting the Primary Arms 1-4 with the mill dot reticle only because the older I get the worst my eyes get. Good video over all

About the same idea as Ohio wolverine. I bought my granddaughter a cricket when she was 5 she's outgrown it. Looks like Papa has a new addition to his backpack. Thanks for the video.

Love it! Got one feom a neighbor for $20! Getting ready to pink & purple tiger stripe for my 9-year old little girl to take her training on it! Definitely interested in doing this conversion as well! Being that you've painted this exactle rifle, do you have a particular paint you would recommend, sir? Thanks for the video and any information you are able to share!

Great setup!! I could make a little padded sleeve for the barrel. LOVE all the survival equipment you integrated. Very smart! ? How much does this little guy weigh? And what would I search for on the metal knob to replace the plastic.? Thx much!! Ps - other ?. Does that knob need to be cocker each time so rack a new round? Or is that more of a safety. Thx again.
