How do you keep your foamboard bases from warping?

They do usually warp a small amount but it's not enough to be noticible, if it is then I paint the underside which warps it back to the correct shape

what kind/brand of clay did you use?

It was regular clay that I got from hobbycraft. I believe it was their own brand
