I have a few gripes with our teams new concept of offense & sub rotations. Pros include the offense scoring at an insane rate, shots being put up consistently, bench players contributing since they come in fresh & full of energy when the starters have been sprinting everywhere, & our pace outmatching our opponents effectively wearing them down. Cons include our team being gassed out, when a team consistently scores on us our pace is a detriment since it doesn’t allow us to refine our game in the halfcourt which in the playoffs we WILL need, allowing players who won’t be in the playoff rotation to consistently take away from a potential rhythm our starters & main bench players can get together, & I believe our pace leads to injuries a lot of times. I think it’s healthy to have a balance of both a fast pace & a more methodical pace to both slow the game down & get more of a playoff feel in halfcourt sets & also limit tear on our guys running at 110% a game. Idk, I know we’ll do good during the regular season, but our rotations & pace will be the end of us come playoff time. Also, we need to capitalize on this window for a championship we have now. OKC proved that they’re in a different league than everyone in the western conference outside of a healthy Mavs team. We need more halfcourt sets & to play a slower pace sometimes to better ready ourselves for playoff basketball.

But your judgment of Bane is totally illogical if you cannot apply the same judgement to ja. Bane is probably playing better than ja this year at this point. I seriously think Ja could be top 3 guards in the NBA, top 6 player in the nba, IF HE TURNED INTO A REAL COMPETITOR AND QUIT WITH THE BULLSHIT INJURY STUFF. But yeah, he’s my favorite player. JJJ is #2 and Bane #3. Bane is tough, he shows up to work and JJJ only sits if he’s injured. JA has just lost that competitive thing and I want to see it come back. Offensive system is lazy and puts the pressure on the players to make split second decisions versus the coaching staff actually coaching and instructing players on where to be. This offense excels against Euroleague talent and bottom feeder NBA teams! It needs on the fly adjustments, not just relying on lazy principles against great NBA coaches and players. Defensively, once you understand the principles of this offense it's easy to defend. We don't get any of thos back door cut buckets against good teams and this offense is to reliant on those to be successful.
