The estimated full recovery time for a surgery like GG's is 3 months! Typical Grizzlies Medical staff! Over react to every injury he is 19 with that rejuvenation at an all time high! I know we won't see him till 2025 although he'll be ready to play by Dec. I know this is the modern NBA but it's soft af when it comes to injury treatment at least the Grizzlies medical treatment of injuries has been since the start of the Klieman era!

This is one reason why national media expectations are so low. The team has to prove that they are healthy and that they can stay healthy. And will they be rusty and lacking chemistry? I mean 3 of the projected starters played a COMBINED 29 NBA games last season (Morant, Smart, Edey). So much uncertainty.

One of our potential weaknesses in the playoffs is matching up size wise depending on who we play in the playoffs. We need GG ready for that so as long as he heals on time and can still develop for playoff time we should be ok.

GG Jackson is super young too so I see him back in Nov. and maybe early December at the worst. Good news despite it all. Heal up GG!
