Everything from 8:48 is the best thing I heard over this series so far out of all the baddass series. Those statements cannot be hammered home hard enough. I thank you, DJ Angelo of theUK, for all your hard work that has went into this series.

After years of trying, I eventually got the one beat chase! A massive achievement for me. I remember watching this video years ago thinking I could never do this, but 10 years alter I can do it haha. Goes to show what some practice does. Thank you shi phu Angelo!

I wanted to share something that has really helped me learn this pattern quickly. The song he is using in this tutorial is 100 BPM. That means a beat always falls at 12 o’clock, 4:30, and 7:30. When you pause the record on each side it should be at these locations on every single rotation. I don’t know how the hell DJ Angelo is so quick that he doesn’t need to pull back a bit to get it’s that spot, but I do. Hope this can help!

Thanks for the tutorials man, they're really very helpful. All the way from Singapore!!!!
@HeadsetHistorian13 жыл бұрын
I can't thank you enough for these tutorials, so well spoken and honest. You don't try to hide anything or make it hard for beginners to grasp, that's takes a really decent person to do. Highly appreciated and I can see myself returning to these videos again and again as the holy grain of turntablism! If you're ever in Ireland then I'll be there at the front row supporting you. ;) Cheers mate!

These tuts are brilliant guys, but remember he's teaching you so you don't have to figure out what's already there, being a professional turntablist means a lot more than just using the techniques he's shown you well; you have to innovate and create new ones to make sure the sound is freaky fresh.
