Turok 2 can make even games from the 6th gen look like trash, the team behind It really showed the power of the N64, then Rare came with Perfect Dark. This was a very unique and amazing console.

I personally always thought that of Lair of the Blind Ones. If you get the cave keys in the wrong order, it breaks the level from being completed. Hive of the Mantids is one of the hardest levels in terms of combat, but at least it's pretty easy to figure out where to go and what to do.

Yes, Hive of the Mantids has the unfair auto-aim turrets and is overall tougher combat wise. But Lair of the Blind Ones was just a giant fucking maze. The amount of backtracking I had to do...Good Lord.

When i was a kid and discovered the cheats to turok2 i spend 8 hours playing and i thought it was about 40min, i stayed at the same position without noticing it and then my mom called me to eat ,my arms hurted a lot, then i keeped playing after eating, that time with both my arms extended to relieve the tension

Its funny cause it looks very playable friendly on PC version, but back in the day on old ass TVs and using N64 control this game was hard. You couldnt see shit, ud get lost. Loved every min of it

I am on the n64, using a superpad 64, non turbo, No three prong crap, but i beat this level, exept the last two queens, I could not find them for the life of me. thank you so much. Also if you play this game, get a super pad, so much better then the n64 controller. the stick is not plastic eather, some sort of steal.

I did not know about such superpad, I'm using my decades old basic controller, super slow sensibility but with the horizontal sensibility to 14 and my shotgun, it gets the job done. Otherwise I'm taking my time to snipe with the Plasma Rifle.

Quick reference for anyone needing to find the Master generator and doesn't want to ff through this whole thing vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/turok/images/3/3e/T2_Level_V_-_Hive_of_the_Mantits.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140222164627 Go to section 5-7, use your map, and in the room with the poisoned water there's a hidden generator. Destroy that, then head back to the middle room and go through that corridor that was previously shielded.

29:30 had me yelling "motherF*****!" out loud. If you collect those things in the first run and dont instantly blow up that wall youll be stuck running around in that level forever (as I was). Poopy level design, but thanks for the video!

I've gone from the temple portal switch but hit a part where you take the diagonal moving platform down to a ledge then turn right and follow the ledge until the end, then turn left down a corridor. I can't get through this corridor as it is blocked by a force field :( What do I do?! Because this is before the force field generator.

GamerWolf 290 If you google it, you can find a patch for Turok 2 made by a guy named -=CHE@TER=-. I'm using an older version of it, but he updated for the more recent Windows. With that patch, Turok 2 should work fine on later Windows.
