I like that they remastered all the visuals and raised the framerate to a consistent 60 fps, and they managed to make a version of turok 2 that 1999 computers wouldnt dream of running, and on top of that, all the sound effects are the same and the enemies still look very similar to how they did in the original. I really like that they did that. Also it seems that there is no longer any fog like in the n64 version which is the only way I ever had a chance to play this game. I'm happy with this remaster.

@Giganotabehemoth876 жыл бұрын
Yes most levels had slight alterations to level design, to make parts less confusing. Most notably in the Lair of the Blind ones a part was added to make a section near the end not so complicated. I think the improved movement like just how fast you run, and framerate etc can also contribute to make it an easier experience and being able to navigate/remember where you're going.

You mean mgs 2 and 4 make an identical sound, as turok 2 came out years prior to mgs2
@PrimevalDemon2 жыл бұрын
@@critical6798 I wasn't asserting a timeline or flow of events in a chronology. I was just stating the noise being identical to another game entity or character. Noting only to make others aware in case they noted it but had issue remembering what they shared a sound effect with, as I had issue recalling as well. I was not nor would I pretend that the noise originated here or in mgs2 or mgs4. The noise is assuredly a noise from stock sources from any point from 1960's to any point in 1990's. Your seeming aggression or trying to be confrontational seems unnecessary and odd from my perspective. Sorry if I upset you or something , I obviously am aware that this game is numerous years older than Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty which came out in 2001. Your "gotcha" if that was the intention , seems very unwarranted. Sorry for my wording. I didn't mean to be rude or obnoxious or anything you might have thought.
