I wrote a speech on the Purr-Lin and the Death Marshes in grade 7 in one night after playing Turok 2 constantly for who knows how long, and delivered it to my class the next day. I got a 98% and went to the regional speech championships because of it. 😂 I loved this game so much as a kid.

LOL, thanks! BMD is actually one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to doing these series! And yeah, I have plenty of gaffes in each of my videos; I'll edit/render the video and then watch the finished product (to make sure there's no glitches or anything before uploading to KZbin) and I'll hear one and go like "How tf did I make that mistake?" Hell, I think my most recent series (Strife: Veteran Edition to date) is where I make most of them... I kept getting the Templar (an enemy) and the Mauler (a weapon) mixed up!

At 8:55 when you're shooting at the wasp, the shell casings fall in the water and cause ripples. That's pretty neat. And the gore effects... I'm playing the game for the first time, referring back to your videos after each level to see if I missed anything (man did I get paranoid when I still had 3 secrets to find at the end of this one!), and they're crazy to experience even nowadays. The most memorable one so far was lodging a Tek arrow in an Endtrail's chest, and having the explosion blow a hole clean through it. I really like your video series, you have a relaxing commentating style. In an earlier video you mentioned the infinitely respawning ammo chaches, that was a very useful tip. Without it, I'd probably run around using nothing but regular arrows to conserve ammo instead of blowing baddies up with explosive shells. The latter is much more fun! Edit: Skipping the talisman requirement is so broken, holy shit. Having all those weapons from the end of level 3... This game's about to be even more fun!

Glad to hear people enjoy my commentating style :D And yeah, those ammo caches HAD to have been a conscious development decision, mainly due to the much lower max ammo capacity of... well, pretty much everything in this game, when compared to the previous one lol. I abuse TF out of those, and never feel bad about doing so! And yeah, that Eye of Truth skip *still* tickles me pink to this day. Getting all those fun toys this early (especially my boi the Charge Dart Rifle) made the fun factor go up exponentially!
