The 1/8" gap they're referring to is between the latch roller and indexing latch. With the stop roller in the upward position, depress the indexing trip lever and adjust the front nut on the compression spring until you see a 1/8" gap. Tighten your jam nut and check clearances. Also, if the pins dropping isn't enough to trip the trip lever after adjusting the trip lever, check your snubber adjustment. Should be about a 1/8" gap between the snubber and pin. I always check with the 9 pin in the basket as your 1, 7 and 10 won't allow you to adjust properly.
