Yes.I check the position of the geneva rollers at exactly 0 degrees.If they are very near the same height you are good..

I've been taught to adjust the moving deck cable with the tool to prevent the twisting of cables on either end.

Huh never heard of that, always been told the vise grip method. Very interested in what the tool is though

@@shawnmbowling it's basically a 3 sided square that can be elongated and it is supposed to slip over the 9/16 nuts to prevent twisting the cables. Getting it over worn out nuts is the issue..lol

Shawn there is a much easier way to determine if your moving deck cable needs adjustment. Cycle machine anywhere between 10 and 90 degrees 2nd ball. Observe the Geneva bearings. They should be level. If back bearing is lower then the front, the cable is loose. If back bearing is higher then the front it’s too tight. Also verify the deck height and deck level adjustments are correct.

I've heard the same things. This also applies to wobbly pins set for second ball.. to check the Geneva bearings to assure they're level.

So first off your suggestion regarding adding washers to lower ball wheel pulley worked so thank you. Now, I checked the geneva rollers and found one roller was missing. Once that was replaced, like you I was trained to screw in the top cable bolt so there is only one that needs adjusting. Once the top bolt was fully screwed in the rollers are level but pins still wobble. Hmmmm Thanks for your help

I still have pins that wobble too, so my suggestion would be if you can’t get it to be perfect get it as close as you can and just make sure that all the pins are sitting at around the same spot

I noticed you have a cup like device on the #10 turret wire. When it drops the 10 pin it hits the top of the chute. Ya might want to check that. I use a pin punch in the turnbuckle then break free the cable nuts.

Yes thank you noticed that during the recording and took care of it afterwards! And yeah everyone has their one way, the punch is a new one to me though

If the Geneva plates have been taken off and spring unloads. How many turns for the spring/pully before putting Geneva plates back on?

Put 1.5 turns into the spring, but make sure you put the 10 pins side on first then load the spring then the 7 pins side
