I feel like I need to pin this comment. Death Rattle + Peak of The Mountain is about an 8% Damage Increase over Soul Gambler Fallacy + Boneclamor Barbute. On top of this, Boneclamor is near impossible to get with 4LP while Peak is the easiest target farmable item to get with 4LP, since it has 0 Effective Level for Legendary Potential. While the Soul Gambler Fallacy amulet is a nice interaction, it is just not better for the build. That being said, there is nothing wrong with using one if you wish to do so. Have fun blasting!

8% when you have perfect gear? I swapped out DR and Peak for the others and it feels like my damage output has doubled. I'm casual so there's no way I will be ever finding anything more than a 2LP item. Would you still recommend DR and Peak over the others in my situation where my gear isn't that great?

Great guide. Did you do any testing for a ward variant using exsanguinous and the experimental gloves? I'm curious how the damage and survivability stack up. I was running that with the "Elixer of Construction" node in the ballista tree to get a 60% damage multiplier and crazy movement speed when combined with the haste on potion use. "Potion health convert to ward" idols + removing healing from skills and passives kept me low life so could keep a stable 3k ward running through mono's with ~5k when I had to stand in one place for an objective or boss. ~500 corruption was pretty smooth, but I definitely needed better gear to make that version shine. I based my build on a one from a KZbin video by Shion.

of course explosive ballista is better. It is also 100% getting nerfed in Cycle 2 though.

Hey why u can jump with ur Aerial Aussault if u have the Storm on the Horizon point in skilltree?

So far I'm loving this build. I do have a question/problem. I'm level 87,. Right now I'm wearing boots that give me 5 minions teleport around when using traversal skill. When I use my Aerial Assault, either none spawn or only one spawn. Also, I have +3 max ballista from gear. Do you know why this happens?

How you pushed beyond 600 corruption with 1700 Life? Im at 440 corruption with 1900 life and resistances capped and every orobyss boss oneshots me in a second :(

Is the lootfilter on Maxroll correct? Why show increased damage when using a sword? Why Divebomb? Why hide good crit affix rolls on unusable items? etc.

The filter grabs affixes from all the planner variants. Turn off affixes you don't want to see

Ballista seems so convenient on right click but i cant seem to assign right click to second ability on bar

I dragged and dropped it to my right click button and it worked for me. Works great as a right click.

@@NoFat16 then u r not benefitting from the coordinated fade node on ur bar as frequently as u should because it only works on the second ability on the bar from left to right - right click is ability 5 not 2 and i cant seem to reassign it in the key bindings

Why don't you use Soul Gambler's Fallacy? It's better than Death Rattle. 100% crit for ballista's and falcon

35% increased minion damage 65% multiplier 35 chance 10 intelligence Overall better choice than that, plus it doesn't have the reduced crit chance debuff, so much more consistent

It is strictly worse. Peak of the mountain is also the easiest item to target farm 4LP. I have heard this so many times, but crit is free on ballista because you get so much base crit + peak, and if you spreadsheet this Death Rattle is just vastly superior.

Fallacy is 100% crit all the time what do you mean…? It’s nothing but consistent.

Sure but you don’t understand how the item work. “You” are not criting. “You” never actually attack. Only your minions attack. Therefore you have 100% crit all the time. If you incorporated a bow attack or even traps it would then reduce the crit chance. But because you are only using minions as damage it is 100% up time on 100% crits. It is extremely consistent if YOU aren’t attacking. Most people don’t even realize this. Try it.
