How much water in to melt the sugar for the Carmel sauce it does not say in the recipie

It's the second ingredient listed for the caramel sauce. 1 cup of water.

It doesn't cook the eggs. The boiling water helps bring out the flavor in the cocoa.

I had a baby in November and we moved in June. My current kitchen doesn't work well for filming, but I'm working on fixing that. I hope to get back to being on camera soon!
