I'm a black guy and I love to see the other educated people who understand. I'd love to visit and experience this one day

If you are colored you should be insulted buy the name. Something else they took from you. Stop calling yourself black

We live very close to here and are hoping to visit him soon! Our family have been here for decades and its scary to see how money is changing our area.. so many moving in and developing and destroying land for cute condos :( its so sad. Cant wait to get my young son out there to see what living in harmony with nature really means and how truly blessed we are to live in this area.. Love & good vibes to turtle Island and all the wonderful people that make it possible!

Half of people couldn't start a fire. We exist because of hard working men and women who built our country

I learned it the hard way when my (then 30 y.o.) urban self moved to a small cabin by myself, nestled on the border of Frontenac National Park by Grand-Lac-St-Francois. It took me about 3 weeks to figure out how to use the wood stove. I have ruined countless recipes cooking with fire, even after 15 months of practice. I am glad that I spent that time out there. Thanks to old manuals and the internet, I learned to pick local mushrooms, herbs and other edible goodies the woods had to offer. Learned several fishing techniques that do not require a rod and hook. Learned to shovel effectively, to orient myself in the woods, to build various types of shelters. But most importantly, I learned the value and power of SOLITUDE. After this experience, never will I be bored again. I am now back into civilization... in a 26K town. Have been pretty much in social quarantine since early march and I do not fear cabin fever anymore. It is a problem only for the idle rich

This country would be in great shape if we had millions of Eustice Conways , but we don’t and this is all the more reason we need to stand together and fight government,, I bet if u dig deep enough, some politician has a need for that land, or a contractor who fattens the pocket of said politician

Is Raleigh related to Eustace? I see this season that he's been helping Eustace. So sad that Preston is gone. They were so good together.

Well before the arrival of Europeans in North America, the Tuscarora had migrated south and settled in the region now known as Eastern Carolina. The most numerous indigenous people in the area, they lived along the Roanoke, Neuse, Tar (Torhunta or Narhontes), and Pamlico rivers.[4] They first encountered European explorers and settlers in the colonies of North Carolina and Virginia. To bad the original people's decedents couldn't enjoy their land.

Hey I am in a wheelchair adapting to this with nature would want to know if I could do it there
@TheAlienFleet4 жыл бұрын
Once i saw an old vet with tank treads on his wheelchair instead of wheels so he could go out in nature. Would probably cost a whole lot of money but it might help you get through the woods better.

At lunch today I was talking to my son(a Physics Major in College) about if we were and had to be forced back to the 1870s via world disaster. Pre- phone and Electricity... 90% of the people would die in the first 90 days and it would take one decade to recover to civilization...Those having the skills of this paradise would have an advantage over those who do not and the location to do so...City people would just disappear totally????!!!! Turtles for Ever!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I live In LA!!!! but Raised in Southern Ohio and I am Briar!!! or Hillbilly!!! Need a Turtle Patch For my hat just kidding!!!!!!!!
