LOVE the rooster!! The tiny one is adorable! I'm not quite sure what you mean on doing the tail and gobbler. Would you ever be in to doing a quick tutorial explaining how to do it? Enjoyed the video and watching your journey. I'm on the same journey learning how to do amigirumi...
@KnottingHookCrochet Жыл бұрын
Because I modified someone else’s pattern it probably would not be proper for me to do a tutorial on it.
@georgiacorey954 Жыл бұрын
Since you asked I had to look one up on the net. The dimensions were bugging my eye from my memory of my Aunt's aquarium. I was wrong on the tail. Your size is right. What is throwing off the balance is the top & bottom fins. The real fish have bigger wispy top & bottom fins & they extend back to the tail fin length. Anyway, they are easy to see on the net.

Wow! We have to be related somehow. I did the exact same thing to turn my chicken into a rooster, I always make some kind of adjustments to patterns. My kids tell me that I'm to picky, but if I'm going to sell something to someone I want it to be perfect. FYI, it's not just an orange cat thing. I have two grey cats and they drove me so crazy with the poly fill and wanting to lay in it, drag my parts off that I now crochet and store my yarn behind closed doors...lol! Not sure if you know this, but be very careful with small pieces of yarn and string. My daughters cat swallowed some of her yarn, got tangled up inside the cat and the cat ended up needing surgery. It was not cheap!
@KnottingHookCrochet Жыл бұрын
I hear the same thing, John is always like “it’s fine” and I’m like nope it has to be right. Yes I shut the cat out most of the time our other cat has no interest in the yarn. My oldest daughter’s cat ate a spool of thread and had to have a very costly surgery! I do my best to keep my eye on him.
@bonnieocker7349 Жыл бұрын
@@KnottingHookCrochet I mentioned the yarn and cat because until my daughter had the issue with her cat I didn’t even think about what could happen. It makes sense though because their tongues are just like Velcro.

Hi Robin! Our AC had issues too. $500 later and having to have our AC guy come three days in a row, looks like we may be on tract again. I just think it’s been way too hot for too long and the units can’t handle it. Love how you did the rooster. Very creative. Your angel fish is gorgeous. Not sure it needs more rows, but hey, give it a go and see if you like it better. I get why the sea turtle has a flatter shell, it’s because that’s how they are in real life. But, this is crochet and the beauty of it is you can do whatever you want! I’m expecting an order from Herrschners tomorrow, but still not getting some of the colors I ordered. What’s with the white? Gee! I signed up for my first market. I’m terrified. Luckily it’s small so I don’t have to go nuts making a ton of stuff. Have a great Sunday! ❤️🦋❤️🦋
@KnottingHookCrochet Жыл бұрын
Having to fix things like AC is not a joy of being a home owner 😂 I’m happy for you that you decided to go for your first market! From watching a bazillion market prep videos it’s good to have most of your items $5 to $20 or so they say. We will find out 😂 I still haven’t gotten a shipping confirmation from them I went with the 3 packs to save an extra dollar! The white you would think would be the easiest to stay in stock on. Must be that everyone is prepping for fall markets🤷♀️ don’t stress just have fun with the process!
@craftysue519 Жыл бұрын
@@KnottingHookCrochet … I found some white on the Premier site and ordered a couple last night. That will hold me over until my back order from Herrschners comes in. Yea, I’m not going to make really expensive things for this market and I’m not going to make a lot. Most of my items run from $10-$25 dollars. I have only 4 that are over that, but the highest is $45 and I may not even make it for this fair, we’ll see. Guess what? My AC started acting up again this morning. It’s back on now, thank God! Well, back to work, making a cat right now! ❤️🦋
