I melt the back of the eye post and push it flat to secure it better. Ive also seen people add a small piece of felt to the post before adding the back for the eye.

I like the beard this way too! I hope you at least have a window shaker in a room that you can escape to. I just went and bought a 2nd window shaker and had John install them both today one in the living room and one in the dining room which is really one big room. Shut all the doors leading to all other rooms and that is where I will be until the unit is fixed. I dread seeing my next electric bill 😖

I have been doing a marathon of all your videos and it’s been fun watching your progress. I don’t use a hot glue cause I feel in hot weather the glue softens. I use fabric glue and have had no problems .i kinda tested with my very active 3,5 and 6 year old great grandsons. In one of your videos you mentioned buying your pattern’s direct. Please give more info.

Hi Robin. Purple and green is one of my favorite color combos so love the flower pop! Who is going to know the goldfish is upside down other than you? I think it looks great! My favorite is the sun flower turtle, so pretty! I got one skein of Chocolate yarn that was back ordered from Herrschners. Still waiting on the darn white and I believe a mustard skein. Sure hope that white comes from Premier. I definitely don’t get as much made as you do. I must be ultra slow, but I’m always interrupted too. I didn’t do a Plushie Wednesday yesterday because we had to bring our 15 year old pug to the vet yesterday and have her put to sleep. Broke out hearts, so needless to say I wasn’t in the mood to do a video. ❤❤

When I do safety eyes I use hot glue and the backing. I put a little bit of glue before I snap it on, want to be sure it stays. I have a precision glue gun so just a little can come out.

I tried doing that with e6000 and made a mess 😂I think I would make a mess with my cheapo-depo glue gun. I just decided to stitch on eyes for this frog.

I too have noticed others hot gluing the eyes in place. Yes Genna does it. I’ve not tried yet.

i use fabri-tac for sticking eyes in after the fact and sticking on felt patches and mouths, and it sticks real good! it dries hard but hot glue would too

You have such a good variety of choices! My fav are: The violet POP flower, I would by that in a market! The size is perfect! My 2nd are the small gunny-bears, I think they would make perfect charms for purse, back parckm keychains, etc. They dont need eyes, those who love them will recognize! The chicken nugget and cheezeburger are so cute and funny! If you just do 2 stitches for the eyes, they would make great stress "ball" mini plusghie! Caracters from anime are always fun, the persons who play those games likes to collect items from theirs games! As for the fish, only YOU knows, the buyrs looks at it, and like it or not, and they think its made like this on purpose! Sugg.: I've seen some people crochet theirs toys all kind of colors, and not necessairely the "real" ones. ...I've seen some really cute pink and magenta bees (pale pink for wings), or orange and red with pale orange for the wings, etc..., same for the frogs...sometime you could be surprise are beautiful it become! I send you lots of goood vibes so get AC the fastest!!! Hot weather like this just take me down, humidity gives me migraines, etc. I had to go sleep to my friends once ours AC was on repairs for 3-4 days and it was 42 Celcieus outside!!! (I ive in Montreal Canada, ours summers had become weather over 30 Celcius for one day, thunder storms the next one...all summer long!!!)

I had to wait soooo long for my premier order that had white! If you didn’t know, Hobby Lobby’s Baby Bee has the line called Adore-A-Ball which is EXACTLY like parfait chunky. And because I got impatient I went there and got Angel which is their white.

I love seeing all of your amigurumi adventures. You and I are alike when it comes to wanting things to be as close to perfect as possible. If you want I can email you and fill you in on my fails and successes when it comes to markets and making things for them. I know every area is different, but I have the same mind set as you when it comes to prices. My grandkids and their friends can only want so many plushies, so with markets I get to do what I love and make a few bucks doing it. I will never get rich doing this, but money is not everything. FYI I hate telling you this, but the ac went out in my car, I had to wait 3 weeks for parts and it ended up costing my just over $1,200.00. I did not go anywhere unless it was absolutely necessary. I have no idea how you cope with no ac in your home. Fingers crossed that you get yours fixed quickly.

I personally would not use hot glue on the eyes. To me this would be a huge choking hazard. For Mable the chicken, I have better luck sewing the mouth and eyes last. Loving all your makes!

I certainly would if we didn’t have 2 cats a dog and a chicken! John put in my window unit then I went and picked up another. For now they are working ok with all the rooms closed off the living room dining room and kitchen area cooled down pretty good. BUT we had rain come through and the outside temp dropped by 12degrees! I was thinking about the angled beard but once I cut I can’t go back so I have to look at it for a few days😂😂😂

Love them all even the ones you think r not perfect there still cute to sell and the fish I like it just finish it. As to hot gluing the safety eye I seen Jena do that on a video, I don’t think I would do that to sell them I believe they can be just pulled out that way and it would be more hazardous, I think that crazy to do it that way. I’d rather invest in felt eyes and glue those, it’s a lot safer, just my opinion. Just remember there special and hand made.

I was very skeptical about hot gluing the eyes and a lot of people are saying the same, not to do it. I think I agree!! Do you know where to get smaller felt eyes. I was using a punch and cutting my own but I very quickly broke my punch. The only ready made that I have come across are an inch or bigger.

I love your armagrumis and I notice you wear glasses and you still make them with numerber 6 velvet but how in the world can you see the sticbes. Well I can’t always see them. I feel for them take my time and count as I go to make sure I got them all. The more you work with it the easier it gets. Plus make sure you have really good lighting!

The way I do the Mabel chickens are sew closed, surface crochet the red top part, embroider the eyes, and then the beak last 😂 if i put the beak on any earlier, its normally a row too low by accident 😂

I didn’t like the way the gummy bears looked. The chickens I was having trouble with the beak too. I didn’t like the way it looks. I started putting them vertically instead of horizontal. Looks much better.

I make the gummy bears with little eyes and call them seeing gummy bears. People seem to like them better. However for toddlers I do not use safety eyes. I am not even sure why they are called safety eyes, lol . Once you put a key chain on those smaller bears why not ask $5? Thanks for sharing with us.
