Who thinks this is inhumane btw!?!?!? they should not be shipping live animals around shell or not, but you should also not be supporting this! watched an unboxing video where he debated whether or not one died the whole time, theyre in a box, those boxes get beat, think about how far you are from the ship from address.. they also need food and water, and theyre in an air tight looking container. and for those of you who may attack my grammar, I dont care. Also surprised you noticed my grammar is wrong.. you didnt notice shipping live animals is wrong!!! ... PWNED!!!

Turtle shack sucks. I wouldn't trust shipping a brick in their packaging set up let alone a live animal. They don't have air hole on anything. I ordered 3 cold packs and there was only one. My turtle arrived without a tail and he seemed very lethargic wouldn't eat or bask. He died the first week. Turtle shack wanted me to send a dead turtle in the mail to exchange it. (which is illegal) I ordered a pair from turtle source and they were alert and active right out of the packaging. The box was packaged much better with air wholes and LIVE ANIMAL FRAGILE sticker that was huge enough for any dumb ass to read that fling packages around. I have had both of my turtles from turtle source for a year now and they are just as healthy and happy as turtles should be.

ViruS turtles actually prefer to live alone. It will cause many problems if put together with another turtle. For example, one would feel superior to the other, one of the turtles would grow faster than the other etc

I think either they've supplied you a faulty piece of turtle which is gonna die (NO OFFENCE THOUGH) cause when you removed him from his box he didn't seem to be doing well...OR...your filter is too powerful

Atharv Joshi My turtle had just woken up from hibernation, it was his first time in the tank so he had no idea that he was jumping off his dock straight into the filter output, and my filter had a quite powerful flow so I did adjust it a bit after making the video. And what evidence do you have that my turtle is "faulty"? I have had him for almost 4 months and he has grown a lot and is eating and basking normally. My turtle has shown no signs of illness, deformity, or abuse. You should really have more evidence other than him being blown across his tank by a stream of water before you say my "piece of turtle is faulty".

Hey I have to read your sliders one is 1 inch long and the second is 4 inches long I have a 20 gallon long for them but I don't know if I should put the 1 inch with the almost 4 inch turtle can I put them together oh and I'm getting a turtle topper in two days so it's a big enough basking spot that they won't fight about

Late comment but it's the other way around. Female turtles have flat shells and males have a somewhat non flat and pointy shell.

I bought my cherryhead, and yellowear slider from myturtlestore. It is how animals are delivered. Both are doing wonderful. As for your setup, maps like to swim with a current. We have 2 of them.
