Turtle swim Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, Maldives🐢RELAXING

We spotted a friendly sea turtle grazing just outside our Villa during our honeymoon stay at Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru island resort Maldives and I decided to go and take a swim alongside. It was an amazing experience being my first ever live encounter close-up with a sea turtle in it's natural environment.

Hi guys, amazing videos! Ihuru and Vabbinfaru are the best ❤ may i ask you, in which month you have been there? In december and january the current used to be very strong , but on all of your footage the weater seems to be very quiet.

Our honeymoon was late November and early December 2023. There was a few moments where the water was a bit rough, but for the majority of our stay it was very calm. Thankyou for watching!

There was a reef shark, right at the beginning of the video. I hadn't noticed it being there until I started looking at the footage for editing

What is the underwater environment of Dawa Ihuru like? Is it better than Banyan Tree? Are they both great?

I really enjoyed both, but from my experience I'd have to say Ihuru has a better house reef. The edge of the reef is very close to the shore line, and even the staff at Banyan Tree recommend it to us. Have you visited either before? There is some very nice underwater footage of Dhawa Ihuru on KZbin, but if you subscribe you'll see more of it in my videos that are still to come 😊

​@@AndrewandTina I have not been to both Dhawa Ihuru and Banyan Tree yet. I am very interested in Dhawa Ihuru because I heard that the underwater environment is good. My husband and I were currently trying to decide between Dhawa Ihuru and Ifuru Resort (new resort). I subscribed and liked it. I’ll be waiting for a lot of Maldives videos!😊

@user-dc5eq4bl5y you won't regret it. Vabbinfaru opened almost 30 years ago so it's a bit more of a traditional style resort. The benefit of staying at either Vabbinfaru or Ihuru means you will have access to both resorts via a speedboat. So you get 2 resorts for the price of one stay. You could split your stay between there and Ifuru resort. Thankyou for the like and subscribe 👍
