Take a seat at Turtle Talk theater and watch as the turtle from Disney·Pixar’s Finding Nemo swims up close and personal with guests. Through the amazing technology of the hydrophone, he can communicate directly with land-based dudes and dudettes about almost anything that’s on their minds.
Ask him about marine biology, his friends from the sea, his favorite foods, life on the East Australian Current-it’s totally up to you!
He may also introduce you to his pals Marlin, Nemo and Squirt-plus new friends from Disney·Pixar’s Finding Dory.
The show is improvised, so it’s different every time. It’s an ocean full of laughs for all ages!

Our 1st visit ever, had the buttons on, and went to see Crush. He picked our son to speak to, and just as he started talking to our son, and old man took a phone call on his cell phone and spoke at full volume like he was the only one there. Didn't get to hear a thing Crush said to our son. The kids were all sitting up front so our child was able to interact w/ crush, but we missed it. Please don't talk on your phones during rides. You never know what once in a lifetime opportunity you will be ruining.

This is a guess on how this interactive show works! If someone knows more than I do, please let me know so I can correct it! Cast member does the voice in a separate room (which is probably why the 'hydrophone' detail got added in so it explained why Crush sounds like he's using one, camera monitors the cast member's facial expressions and such so that Crush (On-screen) does a certain gesture or move when the cast member does the programmed expression, gesture, etc. There's a camera for the cast member as well, to see inside the auditorium so he can interact with small details like "Dudette in red stripey shirt" or whatever, OR the glass it's being projected onto is similar to a one-way mirror so the cast member can see everyone in there clearly. I can't find a single video explaining how it works. I've watched 6 of these already and the voice is different for every show and every location.

I’m pretty sure I saw somewhere that it is actually a cast member doing actions that a computer picks up and projects on screen in turtle form. Normally it just projects exactly what the actors doing and the same facial expressions and where they’re going but to do things like a roll they do a certain hand gesture or something. They’re doing all this in front of a screen which shows everyone in there and having to respond to questions either in voice or with a voice changer. Apparently, it uses really advanced tech to pick up the actors facial expressions and actions though

This and the monsters inc show are really good both same types of show but both are really good. My son got called on but just wanted to talk in the mic so he said oh cool Davinci what’s your question he said I don’t remember but the whole place at least laughed and said we love that name

I’m ow some one else will name there so that eventually but that’s one of the reasons why I named him that between Davinci and Dorean Davinci seemed more rare
