Turtle Wax Mister Cartoon Quick Detailer...Almost Good

Thanks for this review. I use this stuff down here in Australia and I have found it to be quite good. Smells like a subtle aftershave too lol. I don’t use detailer sprays to clean my car from dry very often. Instead I find that these products excel as drying aids after washing the car. I mist two or three sprays onto each side of my drying towel, and then mist some onto the panel to be dried. Bam! The water is gone, and a nice slick and shiny surface left behind. Used this way I find that there aren’t any problems with streaks. My favourite products to use like this as a drying aid are 1) Turtle Wax 3-in-1 Ceramic Detailer; 2) Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Detailer; and 3) Turtle Wax Wax ‘n Dry. But this Mr Cartoon Detailer has worked fine for me!

Yeah I have that same issue with some detail sprays. Some sprays are oily and leave dark streaks. I like meguiars ultimate quick detail spray.

What i have found with ALL TW sprays [I've got 'em all] is to apply with a lightly damp cloth followed with a fluffy and I NEVER have a problem.

To knock down Turtle Wax sprays they’ve ( Mike Schultz) their chemist says just use water and streaks are gone. Their sealants/ detail sprays I use 2 Sprays per panel👍

You are probably right. I remember having to do that with their graphene waxes as well. It did state it on those bottles though 😄

Yeah ive noticed that the next few times I used it. I think it works better as a dry detailer as oppesed to a waterless wash

i noticed the same issue , but after a while i ended up spraying directly on my rag and that seem to work way better , i was kinda disappointed because i was working on a black car and i was taking long to remove the streaking .

What i found with the turtle wax quick detailer is you have to work fast. You need to be buffing off as soon as you clean the paint. If it sit longer than 10-15 seconds. its gonna act like a coating and be hard to remove

Yeah for sure. Pretty much what I was finding out as well. I guess by quick detailer they were referring to us not the product lol.

It probably helps. Thats what you have to do with their flex wax and to the max wax also. I just think thats too much work for a QD

I havent worked with the self healing stuff myself yet but you would probably be good with whatever detail spray is made by the company that makes your coating

Try Griots Garage “Best of Show” Detailer. I had problems with other detailers on my black car and finally found something that didn’t leave streaks behind. Griots has another Detailer called “Speed Shine” that I haven’t tried yet.

Not surprising. I had similar streaking issues with their Flex wax spray and Ceramic spray. Seal n Shine was easy on and off. I'm using Extreme Solutions Topper as a drying aid and detail spray. Works great.

Have you tried Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer? I treat it like frank's red hot and put that sh*t on everything! Very user friendly.

Not yet. I need to though. Griots ceramic speed shine is my main cramic detailer right now. Might try the Meguiars when i run out though

If you want a highly dilute-able Detail Spray/Waterless wash Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ leaves the paint so slick with no streaks 💪🏼💪🏼 Great review btw

If it has ceramic and carnauba wax in it in it then it is not a quick detailer. And that’s what this product has .

You used WAY too much product. If it’s any like the pink stuff, I use 2-3 sprays MAX for about the size. Don’t use more to knock it down, it wipes very easy…
