I feel odd about the racial changes, taking out cannibalism or escape artist changes the race choices a bit too much for a vanilla esk server imo I guess I will see when the patch comes out soon how much changes across the scape, I would be happy to see that high elf racial get retooled though

I don't think cannibalism is on the chopping block and escape artist I think is just going to get a tweak rather than a replacement

For racial changes they might take a look at the Vanilla+ private server. While that server is very low pop nowadays its ideas for racials were interesting. I just hope Turtle's changes don't mess up the PvP balance too much as I put a lot of thought into choosing the race with PvP in mind.

It is fairly substantial. Before a shatter combo flamestrike would gain you mana such that you'd never need to drink.

Individual server and community coverage is part of why the golden age of mmorpgs were called "golden" aka best. Feel free to go play retail, mass audience servers where community is meaningless. That said, Twow isn't my choice of how vanilla+ should be as I feel they've lost the handle somewhat, and they destroyed by favorite class trying to "fix" it, but server-centric, community based coverage needs to be encouraged if we will ever return to why an mmorpg should even exist. Personally, I prefer Project Epoch's approach to vanilla+, but who knows if it will ever live up to the promise or even release successfully. Twow at least has survived for years now, even it's become overly muddied.
