I’m nervous to try it as I’ve heard people that try it, never can go back to classic and I have great investment and good buds on classic HC at the moment.. 😂😅 I will be honest, I tried downloading and making an account like months ago but something wasn’t working properly and just gave up. Maybe I should give it another go one of these days. Okay, I’ve been on the fence for months and months to try turtle wow as I was afraid going back to base classic would be dull and I greatly enjoy HC and have since it’s conception with Kargoz and company. Your video single handedly has pushed me to get on there. I tried to make an account and install a bit back but something went wrong and was having trouble figuring it out. The economy in twow is surprisingly stable. Not much inflation, especially compared to classic & other private servers. They've really managed money sinks properly such that gold's not over abundant. Nothing better than leveling a character, saving up for something you want, coming back a week later & continuing where you left off without feeling left behild by soaring prices.

If you have a temporary weapon buff like a sharpening stone or poison, you can't benefit from windfury. So if you get moved into a group with windfury, you'll now be able to remove your temporary buff.

It wouldn't make much difference unless you want to play the challenge as melee but then you would be into punishment anyway. It doesn't sound too bad as a lock or bm hunter but warrior and rogue would be so brutal.

But when you mentioned that it would only affect melee, I don't think that would be true. Not sure how a caster without any Intellect would fare, at higher levels. But either way, that is the challenge.

ive played to level 37 but theres a major issue i have with the server which is theres no way to be directed to the new zones or quest hubs theyve made so ive ended up discovering them way too late (quests are greyed and give pretty much no xp anymore)

Sometimes exploration can be a bit frustrating, make sure to reach out to the people around you to ask them where you might start heading next.

What is a decent money maker for new players to the server?

Pretty much doing quests and dungeons will make you a decent amount of gold while you level. In general the people that run short on cash while they level up are the people that are power leveling. The team took a lot of time I noticed to make sure you'll have enough gold to get the things you need as long as you're playing the game.

2 gathering profs while saving enough to max out my real profs at 60 and selling the excess has been decent for first char leveling gold. And there's always fishing if you keep in mind past 35 you can get 300/300. It's not bad the AH is very active and you can find tons of reasonably priced stuff to buy while leveling, especially if you get a free class mount.

The only thing holding me back from trying out Turtle WoW is that you can't play as a Pandaren. For the chillest server to not add in the chillest race, it just doesn't feel right.
