I was in the Army back in the 80`s stationed @ Ft Huachuca AZ. We went to work @ Ft Ord CA in 1980. One of my fellow soldiers was from Zapata Tx and he had alot of 8 track tejano music. This was the first time I heard Al and his group Mayo. I fell in love with his music. He has his own style.

Love Mayo back in the mid 80's was13 years old and it was the Boom!!!! I miss it so much. Now the music is different . Good memories.
