Great review. Double Toasted is totally awesome. Best reviewers ever. =D But at 4:10, he says "And that feeling of helplessness of being trapped in this dark place.." I've seen the movie. The house wasn't really dark inside. It actually was well lit and looked pretty nice. I wonder if he meant dark as in scary, grim, or evil. You know, it's kind of strange how some people view darkness as scary, evil, grim, or unnatural. But there's no need to be afraid of the dark and it's not a negative or unnatural thing. I never could understand why. =/ This is just a philosophical thought, but if darkness has been around ever since the beginning of everything before anything else, is all around us, and there is even inside of us (I imagine it gets pretty dark inside of our bodies. I don't think we have light bulbs inside of us), isn't darkness one of the most natural and non-evil things out there? =o And night time is actually one of the most peaceful times for most people. It's when we rewind, recharge, and heal. I think he should have just said "trapped in this bad situation" or something. l=D

This review pretty much answered the nagging question I had: "WTF, is it just me??" TUSK seemed like a cult classic wannabe that couldn't make up its mind about what kind of film it even was. That said, I enjoyed it. And I kept saying to myself, I know damn well that CANNOT be Johnny Depp..

Body-horror is normally something I find too disturbing to sit through the entirety of but this film I enjoyed quite a lot.

Its premise sounds too much like Human Centipede and that movie messed me up enough.

Don't bother. It's what happens when a stoner watches The Human Centipede and thinks he can rip it off without people knowing. It's... it's just stupid.

Just finished watching this movie. It wasn't bad like these guys are saying. Disturbing, emotional, absolutely deranged and goofy. The movie didn't always work, I won't lie. But, when it cooks, it really cooks. This is a wild, insane feature that's worth checking out at least once. I'd go with a Matinee on this one.

I actually saw this in the theaters and I kid you not. 2 women got up mid movie and walked out. I heard the words "ghetto crap" as the left. LOL. I watched the whole film....the movie felt like torture porn and found the ending sad.

Maybe it's just me, but this movie reminded me so much of Skyline. Both were pretty good at grabbing the worlds attention, both had a pretty interesting premise, had good setup and everything....but when it came down to the wire, it turned to shit.

The thing that pisses me off about this movie is that he had that phone for sooo long and didn't call the police. He could have reported a, bomb threat, dead body, dead child or anything and got someone there. it pissed me off to no end and fucked up a already fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked up movie.

Great B-movie, lots to like about if you're a fan of B-movies and Kevin Smith. I really like how Kevin Smith leaves his comfort zone and even criticizes himself a bit: Low Full Pr... wait is that Johnny Depp doing a terrible 10+ minute monologue, ruining any bit of good will anyone has left? Never mind: Low Rental

Some parts were enjoyable but man those Depp scenes sucked the life out of it. Also these Canadian jokes are tired
