Just got these in from you guys, very excited to get them on and out into the dirt to see how they run. Can’t beat these for the price much like the other Tusk tires for dual sport bikes. These have the potential to be a great tire for what I ride most often. Will definitely do a review and first impressions after install.

Nice explanation of the design aspects Chase. It’s great that you explain what you guys were looking for in its arena of intended use. Does this new waypoint have a harder compound than the Dsport Adventure tire? Aka get a little longer wear/mileage out of them?

Yes, the tire was give extended wear over the Dsport. A lot of that is in the tread design, the closer tread pattern helps promote longer wear. - Chase

We'd love to see a comparison between waypoint and 2track and what the niche is. I see the 2track are super heavy and super stiff and waypoint doesn't have a rear 150x18 :(

Yea thats what you said about the 2track 8 months ago Chase and still only one size rear no 17 in rear tires.. so ive plain given up on tusk to ever make 17 in rear tires in these or the 2track

Developing new tires/sizes takes time, it's a process. We definitely have more sizes in the works including 17" rears

Not currently offered for the same bikes, however, they are categorized the same with both being 70/30 tires. Versatile and capable in any terrain or surface, but just sized and built for different applications.

The Yamaha T7 is a midsize adventure bike, and the Tusk Waypoints currently don't have a size that fit a Yamaha T7.

In between the Waypoint and the D-Sport, the 2track is more off-road oriented than the Waypoint but better on roads than the D-sport

The durometer for front and rear is about 76-78 90/90-21 tread depth is 9mm 130/90-18 is 12mm
