Thank you so much for this tribute to the Tuskegee Airman. You did a fantastic, unbiased job. And kudos to you for your service. I know from experience that for a female to become a U.S. Navy pilot, you are the best of the best. God bless you and your family.

Very nice to see. My father graduated 3 classes behind Lt. Col Cheatham, and he was one of his good friends throughout the Tuskegee Experience. He spent a lot of time with him, Lt. Rolin Bynum, Lt. James Allison, Lt. Conrad Cheek, and Lt. Claude Rowe. When I was young, they used to catchup which was always great. It was great as I had the pleasure of meeting Lt. Col. Alex Jefferson a few times, as he was classmates with Lt. Bynum and also spent time with my father after he returned to TAAF. So it's especially cool to see the story i have heard about the attack on the radar installation and then the POW camp being visualised in the MotA series. And it's great they used so much of his book and his drawings to bring realism to the sets.

The sheer number of missions those guys flew is quite outstanding in itself, never mind the accolades they rightfully earned. I find that it's equally shameful that this tribute to these brave warriors has been seen by so few people, as the fact that they were directed by skin colour the day they set foot on home soil. Thank you Tuskegee airmen, men just like you are the reason my family exist today, from the grandson of a double tour RAF bomber command pathfinder survivor

@@WalkwithHistory it was not true for any period of time. They lost their first escorted bomber on 332nd Mission #3 on 29 June, 1944. They lost 2 B-24s from the 459th BG. They lost a total of 27, which was well below the 15th AF average of 46.
