We had a date night with Mickey and Pals over at one of our favorite character dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World, Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. From the moment you check in, you're transported to Africa from the theming to the food in this very different character buffet. Enjoy African dishes from breads, meats, salads, and sides - all while Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy come by your tables for pictures. Tusker House just makes us happy. Enjoy!

Changed our character meal to garden grill instead! With 3 young kids the Buffett thing with characters makes me nervous, something I didnt think about! Great reviews 😊

If you had to choose between here and BOMA for dinner what would you prefer?

Depends on if you would rather see characters or have a better dining experience. Boma has better food but no characters. Also depends on if this would make you leave the park early and you’re not staying at AKL. Boma isn’t that much better to make me want to leave DAK hours before I would have otherwise
