Materiali Necessari:

Vinile adesivo
Barattolo o superficie in vetro (io ho usato i barattoli delle Yankee Candle)
Guanti protettivi
Mascherina e occhiali di protezione
Pistola ad aria calda
Pennello o spatola per applicare la crema
Alcool denaturato
Panno morbido
Acqua corrente
Procedura:
Preparazione del Design:
Taglia il vinile adesivo con il design desiderato. Assicurati che il motivo sia ben definito e adatto alla superficie che intendi acidare.
Applicazione del Vinile:
Pulisci accuratamente il barattolo o la superficie in vetro con alcool denaturato e un panno morbido per eliminare polvere, grasso e impronte. Questo passaggio è essenziale per garantire una buona adesione del vinile e un risultato uniforme.
Posiziona il vinile adesivo sulla superficie, assicurandoti che non ci siano bolle d’aria.
Adesione del Vinile:
Utilizza una pistola ad aria calda per riscaldare leggermente il vinile e farlo aderire perfettamente al vetro. Muovi la pistola con attenzione per non bruciare il vinile, mantenendo una distanza di sicurezza.
Applicazione della Crema Acidante:
Indossa guanti protettivi, mascherina e occhiali di protezione.
Con un pennello o una spatola, applica uno strato uniforme di Etchall Crema Acidante sulla superficie del vetro dove non c'è il vinile. Assicurati che l'intera area sia coperta in modo omogeneo.
Tempo di Reazione:
Lascia agire la crema per 15-20 minuti. Questo tempo è sufficiente per ottenere un effetto opaco e uniforme sul vetro.
Rimozione della Crema e Pulizia:
Dopo il tempo indicato, sciacqua accuratamente la crema con acqua corrente. È importante lavare bene per rimuovere ogni residuo di prodotto.
Rimozione del Vinile:
Una volta lavato il vetro, rimuovi con attenzione il vinile adesivo. Se necessario, puoi utilizzare un bastoncino in legno o uno strumento che non graffi il vetro per aiutarti a sollevare i bordi del vinile.
Risultato Finale:
Asciuga il vetro e ammira il tuo lavoro! La superficie dove era presente la crema avrà un effetto satinato e opaco, creando un bellissimo contrasto con il vetro trasparente.
Precauzioni di Sicurezza:
Utilizza sempre guanti, mascherina e occhiali di protezione durante l’uso di prodotti chimici.
Lavora in un'area ben ventilata per evitare l'inalazione dei fumi.

Reaction Time:
Let the cream sit for 15-20 minutes. This is enough time to achieve a uniform, frosted effect on the glass.
Removing the Cream and Cleaning:
After the indicated time, rinse the cream thoroughly with running water. It's important to wash it well to remove all product residue.
Vinyl Removal:
Once the glass is rinsed, carefully remove the adhesive vinyl. If needed, you can use a wooden stick or a tool that won't scratch the glass to lift the edges of the vinyl.
Final Result:
Dry the glass and admire your work! The surface where the cream was applied will have a matte, frosted effect, creating a beautiful contrast with the clear glass.

Non avendo ancora mai utilizzato il vinile, non ho capito sopra cosa hai perso come foglio trasparente per poi posizionarlo sul vetro. Nel caso di barattoli poi è possibile anche lavarli?
