Yep, love their acoustic guitars especialy. Had the chance to use one of their acoustic guitar emus on a mates setup the other week, while working on a track together. Really good, very life like results.

I use reaper an I can't figure out why I can't get any articulations to work whatsoever. I've type everything in exactly as shown in this video an all I get is regular notes played. I like the sounds and the details in this plug-in. But I'm extremely limited to what it's supposed to be able to do. Does anyone know if this is an issue with reapers compatibility or something? Any suggestion on what I may be doing wrong? I've even downloaded the pdf manual and can't figure it out.

its definitely a glitch or the program not responding correctly. I am using flstudio and having the same issue as many others.

Does anyone know why a silence/mute occurs when two same notes overlap? The overlap occurs when you 'humanize' a complete bass track. There must be some simple setting to prevent or fix this, I hope?

Thanks for this excellent tutorial. The docs for this are pretty good but it's nice to see this done hands-on. I just bought this yesterday and the C0-A0 key switches weren't working in Reaper. Instead I had to use C1-A1. Not sure why but at least it works.

Can't make articulations work in reaper here either. how did you solve it? did you just select the same notes up one octave? I tried and still doesn't work. I don't know what might I be doing wrong

Hi, I've just downloaded the Ample Bass PII Lite and I would like to know if it's possible play on an specific string. For example I want to play de D note on the 10th fret on the first (E) string, not on the 5th fret of the 2nd (A) string or open 3rd (D) string. Is that possible? Thank you in advance!

AmpleSound, please reply to this message as I am having extreme difficulty getting these slide outs to work where and when I want them to. Slide ins, no problem, slide outs... another story. It appears they will work only when certain notes precede or follow but never when the same note that I want to slide out (and down from) is played immediately before. ie: 8 plucks on the same note then slide out on the 8th note... not happening. Is there some kind of rule that applies to preceding and/or following notes when sliding out that hasn't been indicated in the manual? It's so frustrating and I can't finish my work until I figure this out! :(

Ok, I've worked out that a slide won't happen if the note is on the second fret of the 3rd string, presumably there's 'not enough room' to slide down? If the same note is played on the 4th string (7th fret), the slide down works fine. How do I set the notes to be played on the 4th string and not automatically played on the 3rd?

...aaaaand I've worked it out. Rather than deleting my original post, for those who find themselves with the same problem, there's a keynote for selecting which string a note is played on, similar to the slide in/out keynote. If you look in the manual under "4.10.2 CapoMan", it's explained there. When you select the correct string to play the note on, the slide-out will occur. Yay!!

Hi, Thanks for the Video!! Hey I have been using ample bass for about 2 months now and I'm trying to find out how can I play any note I want on the Low E (E-F-F#-G-G#-A-A#-B-C-C#-D-D#-E 12th fret) then do the same on the rest of the strings? It seems we have the 4 different sections on the keyboard(1-4) and I would LOVE to know the setting so they would correspond to each string...Like section 1 low E string sec 2 A string ect...Has anyone found this or am I trying to do something backwards? I have a few ample Basses (Version 3.2 i guess). There are key switches called "string force x". A note will then be played on a specific string.

You should update this tutorial with Cubase articulations in its current form l much much more musical as all articulations are below the midi track

man now that's what i'm talking about a video that show you how to use and what the articulation does what in a daw. i'm not a guitar player don't even talk the talk but i picked up four program this week. do you have a video using any of the electric or acoustic guitars showing what and how to get the right articulations?

I'm having trouble with this too. Slide-in's are easy, just put the D#0 note at the very start of the note you want to slide in on (which is key C0 on the PreSonus DAW) but the slide outs are extremely difficult to get working. Some notes I can get it to work but I'm finding that if two same notes are played and you want to slide out on the second note to a lower note, it won't respond.

I can get the slide-ins to work every time but the slide-outs are very very temperamental. Any ideas?

I can get the slide-ins to work easy, just placing them at the exact start of the note and it sounds pretty decent but those damn slide-outs only seem to work when they want to. I'll place them somewhere between halfway and 3/4's to the end of the note and sometimes it takes a few minutes before it will register on playback.
