Sol State droppin gold nuggets like it's the gold rush - thank you! If anyone is in FL Studio, humanizing your piano roll notes you can do "Alt R" to alternate velocity of each note or "Alt S" to shift and strum those notes which also alternates velocity. I also bought Decapitator and it has been one of the most useful VSTs I've used next to CLA-2A. You can use it on drums, vocals, guitars, pretty much anything.

That Pro-MB sidechain on the sub trick is something I independently came across once, and now I always use it. Glad to see I'm on the right track with the pros! Pro-MB is an absolute must for modern mixing. Unless you want to go through a more tedious process of creating two separate frequency-split bass channels. Awesome video as always. This channel is a godsend.

@@SolStateMusic Yes,I'm guilty of that too xP, although for a beginner watching this, I understand it could be very confusing. cheers!btw the sidechain I suppose it's from the kick? I think he doesn't say it. cheers! :)
@winterlogical2 жыл бұрын
@@HumanBeingWithFeelings a little late to this response but I know Disclosure actually has a metronome click sound as an actual track in the project, and sidechains everything to that instead of the kick (normally). Maybe you figured that out by now from watching other vids but yeah hope that helps :) I think the utility of it is that a single sharp click is easier to shape your sidechaining around, rather than a kick which can be longer/trickier to perfectly shape a sidechain around.
