@@Ashleeswest Hi Sweetie, it is I just forgot to mention all of the other places like Nigeria, Cameroon, etc. that also do those same braids, not just Ethiopian’s. She made it sound like you were doing their hairstyle (e.g.) they created it.

I have a question, so i have extremely curly and thick hair, and im just discovering and wanting to try out these hairstyles and learn how to maintain my hair for myself. Problem is, i have no clue what I'm doing, i can barely braid my hair its so bad, and my mom doesn't want me to have a hairstyle that is permanent or takes a lot of combing to take out so im nervous to try the first twitsty part with no experience. Do you have any advice on what i should do? Is it hard to take out when you don't want it anymore? *Help please!*

Hey Ashlee I was curious on what advice you would give to someone who is struggling on finding a hair product suited for there hair type. What would be some key products or hair routines you would give to someone who has hair type 3c to 4a and doesn’t like there hair now. What helped you feel more confident in your natural hair? Edit: is there also any product that you know of that can help control volume?

hihi, im not black (im punjabi/indian)but naturally my hair is around 3b/3c but when i avoid using curl creams it’s 4a/4b in some cases. i was wondering if i can still use this hairstyle, in no way am i trying to mock ethopian or black culture in general.

I'm going to do it and then I'll tell you if it worked. update, I did it and it worked, it took me 2 hours to finish the hairstyle so I recommend you do it when you are freer. obviously my hair is different than yours then.
